Today Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Today Devotional
You may not see it right now. The pain. The waiting. The silence. It’s loud. And it feels like God forgot your name. But He hasn’t.
God is not making things up as He goes. His plan for your life didn’t start today—it started before you were born. He saw your mistakes before you made them. He heard your cry before you uttered it. And still, He wrote a future full of hope.
He doesn’t promise an easy path, but He promises a good destination.
So don’t lose heart when the doors slam shut or the road gets rough. Don’t trust your feelings—they’re too fragile. Trust His Word. That’s where the truth lives.
God’s not done. He’s still writing. And the story ends in glory.
Prayer for the Day
Lord, when I can’t see what You’re doing, help me trust who You are. I surrender my plans and take hold of Yours. Give me strength to walk in faith, not fear. Amen.
