JULY 20, Today Verse: Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

Today Devotional
Faith doesn’t beg for proof—it walks when nothing’s visible. It steps forward when fear whispers, “Turn back.” Faith is the engine of the Christian life. It’s not blind. It’s not foolish. It’s built on the unshakable character of God.
Some days, you won’t feel God. You won’t see the way ahead. Prayers might seem to echo back in silence. But if you belong to Jesus, you’re not walking in the dark—you’re walking by faith. And that kind of walk shakes hell’s gates.
Faith is not an emotion—it’s a decision. A decision to trust God’s word more than your circumstances. When everything around you looks barren, faith says, “God is still working.” When the answer delays, faith whispers, “He’s never late.”
Hold tight. God honors faith—not because of its strength, but because of the One it trusts.
Prayer for the Day
Lord, when I can’t see, help me believe. Strengthen my faith to stand firm, to move forward, and to rest in Your promises. Even when I feel nothing, I choose to trust You. Amen.
