You’ve prayed for the pain to stop. For the struggle to lift. For the thorn to be removed. And yet, it remains.
Paul cried out to God—three times, not once—and still the thorn stayed. But heaven did not stay silent. God answered, not with removal, but with revelation: “My grace is sufficient for you.”
Some of you are holding on by a thread today. But hear this—His grace is not a consolation prize. It is power, poured into your weakness. It is not second-best to healing; it is the very presence of Christ dwelling in you, carrying you when your strength runs dry.
If He hasn’t removed it, it’s because His grace is doing something deeper. Trust it. Boast in your weakness—not because you love suffering, but because Jesus shows up there in power.
Prayer for the Day
Lord Jesus, when I feel weak, be my strength. I don't ask for escape today—I ask for endurance. Let Your grace not just carry me, but transform me. Dwell in my weakness and reveal Your power in my life. I surrender the thorn to Your purpose. Amen.
