Today Verse: — Psalm 103:2 (NIV)
“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits”
Today Devotional
You’ve been through storms. You’ve had nights you didn’t think you’d survive. But look—you’re still standing. Not because you figured it all out, not because you had the strength, but because God carried you. He healed you when you were broken. He forgave what others held against you. He provided when you had nothing but faith.
So why do we so easily forget? Why do we walk into each new day like orphans, as if we’re unloved, uncared for, unclaimed?
Psalm 103:2 is not a suggestion. It’s a soul-command. “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” You can’t praise Him properly if you’ve forgotten what He’s already done. And the devil would love nothing more than for you to forget. But today, you remember. You look back—and praise.
Prayer for the Day
Lord, forgive me when I forget what You've done. Stir my soul to remember Your faithfulness, mercy, and love. Help me to praise You—not just with my lips, but with a heart full of gratitude for every blessing, seen and unseen. Amen.
