Today Verse: — Philippians 4:13 (NIV)
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
Today Devotional
There are days when you will feel like the breath has been knocked out of your soul. Your arms hang heavy. Your prayers feel small. And the mountain ahead? Too steep. Too high. Too much. But listen—this is not about what you feel. It’s about what is true.
You don’t stand today in your own strength. Christ is not just beside you—He is within you, empowering you with a strength that held the weight of the cross, defeated the grave, and now dwells in you. This is not poetic hype. This is resurrection reality.
Paul wrote this verse from a prison cell, not a place of triumph but confinement. Yet his spirit wasn’t chained. Why? Because the strength that held him up wasn’t from this world. It flowed from the One who had already overcome it.
You are not called to muster up courage. You are called to draw from Christ. And when you do, you’ll find that His strength in your weakness is not a crutch—it’s a miracle.
So lift your eyes. You may not feel strong, but you are not alone. And that makes you unstoppable.
Prayer for the Day
Lord Jesus, I confess my weakness and weariness. But I thank You that Your strength lives in me. Help me walk today not in fear or striving, but in the quiet confidence that You are enough—for everything ahead.
