There are moments when weakness overwhelms everything else. Perhaps right now, you find yourself saying that you are extremely weak. You have no strength. You possess no ability. You have no one to help you.
If that describes your current situation, you are in exactly the right place. Because if you could help yourself, you would never look to God. God always makes you the least so that He can turn you into thousands. God always makes you the smallest of the smallest so that He can make you a mighty nation.
The Promise That Changes Everything
Scripture provides a foundation that refuses to crumble even when everything else does: "Let not your heart be troubled." You can do all things. You may say right now, "I can do nothing." But God says you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
Thank God for Jesus Christ. Thank God for the hope that we have in His love for us. We can do all things. From today forward, whatever has been blocked will be broken open by the love Jesus has for you.
When you speak and believe that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, transformation begins.
Turn Your Eyes to Jesus
Turn your eyes on Jesus. Turn your eyes away from your failure. Away from your burden. Away from your disappointment. Turn your focus entirely on Jesus.
Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Only Jesus.
Sometimes you may say, "I have been praying so much, but still, why has this blessing not come?" Today, you will learn what you should do to accomplish all things and succeed through Christ.
What Does God Want You to Do?
What does God want you to do to succeed?
Do Whatever Jesus Says
In John chapter 2, the mother of Jesus tells the people at the marriage feast who did not have any wine to serve the guests: "Do whatever Jesus says." Just do what Jesus says.
Many times we are only talking and talking and talking, but we don't actually do anything.
Mind Your Business
First Thessalonians 4:11 records Paul saying, "Mind your business." Many times we mind everybody else's business but not our own business. But God wants you to mind your business because He has a business for you.
Jesus said, "I am about My Father's business. While it is still day, I have to work. The night is coming when nobody can work. I have to do My Father's work when it is still day. I have to mind My Father's business."
My friend, you are not here by yourself or by accident. You have been planted by God on this earth at this time. God has a purpose for every one of you. God has a purpose for me. That's why there is joy in living in this world.
Doing your best as you live in this world matters because you are not doing it for yourself—you are doing it for God. You are living for God. You are here to fulfill God's purpose.
All things will work together for good for those who love God and those who are called according to His purpose. Do you believe that? All things will work unto good. All good things alone may not come to us, but finally, all things will work unto good.
Today, pray: "Lord, help me to mind my business which You have given me."
Your studying is God's business for you. Your working is God's business for you. Taking care of your family is God's business for you. Even going through troubles for the sake of Christ is God's business for you.
That's why Paul says, "In all things rejoice always. Give thanks to God whether good or bad, because finally it is going to turn unto good for you."
Nothing of the world can finish you. Your own weaknesses even cannot finish you. When you are weak, then God's strength comes and lifts you. And you will say, "It's no more I, but Christ living in me."
Mind your business given by God. Whether you are cooking, say, "This is God's business. I am doing not my husband's business, not my wife's business, not my children's business. Everything is God's business." So thank Him over every business that God gives.
Lead a Quiet Life
Secondly, in that same verse it says: "Lead a quiet life."
"In quietness and in confidence is your strength." "In patience protect your souls."
Whatever people may speak against you, whatever humiliation you may go through unnecessarily, whatever wrong accusations may be cast against you—be quiet. That's where your strength comes.
Just be patient. This is the way to rise to great heights. Lead a quiet life as you are fulfilling God's purpose in your business, in your everyday life. God will fight for you.
You don't need to defend yourself. God has given you a name connected to the name of the One whose name is above all names.
As long as your heart is clean, your hands are clean, and your purpose on earth is clean, you have nothing to fear. Men may try to defame your name, but God will prevail over every man and every authority.
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper. And every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me," says the Lord.
Your own tongue will be used by God to refute accusations and render them completely void.
Work With Your Hands
Thirdly, the verse says: "Work with your hands."
You cannot say, "God will work for me," and keep quiet. If we are God's people, we have to work more. Sometimes they will give you ten people's jobs because you are the only one working there.
Don't murmur. Do it. Do it with the strength of the Lord. You will become an expert in those ten fields through those ten jobs that are given to you. At the right time, they will have to promote you because you will know everything and you can do everything through Christ who strengthens you.
This grace is coming upon every one of you. This is the way to grow to great heights.
Biblical Examples of God's Strength
Daniel had ten times more wisdom than others. Yes, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—everyone who had the name of the Lord upon them received that grace. You will also have that grace. Christ is with you.
Now Scripture declares: "I can do all things."
Many of us are talking, talking, talking, but we don't work. But God says, "Start working, My children. Only then can I show My power through you. Only then will the kings open doors for you."
A Testimony of God's Provision
There was a young man who was appointed as the Vice President of a nation—the most powerful nation on earth. After the installation ceremony, he said, "This is the person because of whom I am here as Vice President." And he introduced his thin, frail, weak-looking mother.
When the reporters asked her what the secret was, she said:
"My husband and I had six children, and we adopted another six children because we love the Lord and wanted to care for little children. But when twelve came into our family, my husband suddenly died. I was shocked and shaken because I didn't know anything. I couldn't work. I didn't know the world. My husband was everything.
"But then, the next morning after burying him, I made a pact with God. I said, 'O Lord, from today I am going to do the working for my children, but You do the worrying. I will just do the work which is given to me, but You do the worrying.'
"I started working as a maid in a school—a small job, but I was happy because I said I am not going to take the worry. But God blessed my working. As I trusted in the Lord for the reward, God blessed every child. Now my son is the Vice President of the United States."
When you work, the Lord will work with you. The Bible talks about Jonathan. As Jonathan worked, God stood with him. God stood with him and worked.
Apply This Truth to Your Life
Let's take everything that God has given us as God's business for us. God is going to increase you. God is going to multiply you. God is going to take you to great heights.
Today you may be a nobody. But do what God says to you. Mind your business. Lead a peaceful life. Never complain or grumble. Work with your hands. And the Lord will lift you. The Lord will strengthen you to rise up.
This morning the grace is coming upon you. Never alone. He says, "I am with you always, My child. You can do all things doing My business. I will strengthen you. I will be with you."
Praise Him this morning. Look up to Jesus. One moment. And surrender. Just surrender.
Say: "Lord, I am going back to do my work—Your business. Everything that You have given me is Your business, not my business. Thank You, Jesus."
And thank Him for His mercies. Till now God enabled us to do His business—whether in the government, in our personal business, in our jobs, in our homes, in our studies, in our ministry. Wherever God places us, we delight in doing the Lord's best.
Every one of you has a calling. Stay in the calling where God placed you. The Lord is strengthening you this morning. You will hear Him. He will say, "Do this. Take the water to the people. Lay your hands on the people. Study this degree. Do this job. Take up this responsibility. Marry this person and lead the family. Build your home."
Whatever He says, do it. For His glory. And He will be with you. And the power for you to accomplish is coming upon you this morning. The Lord is coming. Holy Spirit is filling us now.
Would you open your heart and praise Him? Praise Him. God is with you. Your sorrow will turn into joy.
